Little Red

After an uninspired week I had a couple of days where I was feeling like whatever I drew didn't turn out how I'd imagnined. I was pushing through with my professional work whilst trying to balance the emotions of some sad news in my family. I decided this week for colour collective to finally paint up a sketch I had done before Christmas and hope for the best. I wasn't feeling my usual chirpy self it made sense to paint with a darker approach, but the light in the sky above brings hope of the sun to come, and the red solitary character leaves the trail of where she has been and what she has been through behind her and looks up toward the better days to come. This character reminds me of some of my friends who have been through lots of ups and downs in their lives and yet still keep smiling and being strong everday, they are all such huge inspirations to me, and often make my worries seem so small, and my smile fill my face again. I can't wait to be re-united with a good friend next week and I'm feeling positive about creating and enjoying the sunshine of Spring.

I hope you all get to enjoy some sunshine and have a refreshing week ahead!
